Local Collect

Local collect is a great way to get products delivered to you from online stores when you are not in a position to receive goods at your door.  This is great for people who work long hours and are unable to take delivery of bulky goods that would otherwise get sent back to the shop or worse still, items that might otherwise be left on your door step all day.

As a fan of this service I often chose stores that allow this option and have built up a list of shops that provide a local collect service below.

What is Local Collect?

This service allows you to nominate a post office near where you live, or work, where the delivery will be made.  You can then pick up your package at a time of your choosing.  Great for picking up discrete packages or avoiding the problem of not being available to take delivery.  This service is free to you and simple to use.  Just select the local collect option for delivery and then provide your online shop with one of 15,000 post office addresses.  You will probable have to show some form of ID to pick up your order.  Simple!

• Figleaves.com – It is very useful having a lingerie and underwear shop that uses the local collect service! You may want to buy some sexy knickers online without having them delivered to your front door or place of work!
• Firebox.com – The online shop sells a range of gadgets, toys and games for big kids!
• Sex Shop 365 – Another instance where you might want to make use of the local collect service to spare some blushes!  We here at to-buy.co.uk understand that many adults like to enjoy the products of sex shops and know that it can be a bit awkward asking an unsuspecting family member to sign for your dildo at the door!
